Launching Soon: The Slow Philosophy
Discourses on slow living, clarity, and joy for those seeking a more intentional and purposeful life.
In our present age, it is not uncommon to find ourselves in these scenarios: we work long hours. We answer emails late at night. We hit goals and tick boxes. And yet, one may sense — however quietly — that something is amiss. You probably know the feeling: you’re moving fast, working hard, achieving — but not growing. Completing tasks, logging work — not learning. Productive on paper, but stuck at the surface — for too long.
Eventually, perspective blurs. Because when there is forward momentum without inner alignment — the disconnect shows. And that’s not failure. But it is a signal. We’re not lazy. We’re short on clarity. And we’re not lacking ambition. We’re overloaded. And we’re ready, and yearning, for meaning.
The Slow Philosophy is, in essence, about finding meaning. And joy. It’s about doing the right things — deeply, deliberately, and with your full attention, and heart. It’s your next, and possibly most important, edge: A return to depth, growth, and clarity. Not just to work better, but to live — and lead — with greater purpose. It is not a rejection of ambition, but a redefinition of it. For to lead with clarity and to live with depth is perhaps the truest mark of strength.
I created this after years in one of the fastest and most demanding industries in the world: Hollywood. I’ve lived the 300-emails-a-day reality. The long hours. The external wins that leave you internally depleted. That pace builds careers. But it also burns people out — and erode the self. And I’m not here to bash hustle. Hustle got most of us in the room — including me. But staying in the room — and doing work that lasts — takes something else: clarity, stamina, presence, contentment, and meaning.
I too am in pursuit of all of these things — and I have not figured it all out. But I’ve made headway that’s brought me closer to what I’m seeking. Each week, l write about it. Essays and discourses — on slow living. On deep work and focus. On happiness and compassion. I dissect books. And rituals. For a slower, more meaningful life. I explore how one might live more intentionally, with attention to the rhythms that restore rather than deplete: how to live, work, eat, rest, and dream better.
This is for those who want to build something real, fewer distractions, sharper thinking, better days — for those who want to happy humans again.
The builders. The dreamers. The deep thinkers.
If that’s you —
Welcome to The Slow Philosophy.
To those who have stood by me during this journey — friends and family — thank you from the bottom of my heart. This has been a year in the making — and your faith, love, and support behind the vision have helped make this possible. I dedicate this to you.
